Service
ELV / Steering Lock.
Mercedes-Benz ELV replaced with a solid-state module and programmed to your car.
The problem
On many Mercedes-Benz models of the 2000s and early 2010s, the electronic steering lock (ELV) can fail. The key goes in, the steering stays locked, and the car won’t start. Commonly affected: W204 C-Class, W207 and W212 E-Class, X204 GLK and W906 Sprinter.
Our approach
We remove the mechanical ELV and replace it with a solid-state electronic module, a circuit board with no mechanical parts to wear out. It’s programmed to your car so it works with your ignition switch and keys. And we warranty our work.
Related work
ELV failures often get mixed up with ignition switch and key problems. Eurokeys also handles EIS (ignition switch) cloning and Mercedes key repair, making and duplication for 1999 to 2013-14 models.
